Victoria police are searching for three suspects in a brutal assault that left a victim seriously injured in downtown Victoria.
In a social media post Friday, Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers said that on Nov. 19, around 12:30 a.m., three young men assaulted a person just outside the Bay Centre along Douglas Street.
The victim was left with extensive head injuries and lost three teeth in the attack, according to Crime Stoppers.
Witnesses told police that they saw three men, approximately 19 to 22 years old, running away from the scene up Fort Street.
The witnesses also reported hearing the men talking about “beating somebody up.”
Crime Stoppers released a surveillance photo of the three suspects on Friday.
Anyone who recognizes the three men are asked to call Victoria police or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously online or at 1-800-222-8477.
