Nanaimo RCMP released this image of a suspect in an indecent exposure investigation.

Nanaimo RCMP is investigating an indecent exposure on the Vancouver Island University campus.

On Dec. 6 around 6 p.m., a man riding a bike on the campus between Building 205 and 210 got off his bike, exposed his genitals to an adult woman alone on the campus, said some vulgarities, then rode off, according to RCMP.

The woman was not injured. She reported the incident to campus security, then the next day to Nanaimo RCMP.

“Investigators, working with VIU security, managed to obtain a grainy picture of the suspect on his bicycle,” RCMP said in a release.

The man is described as a caucasian male, 5’7″ in his mid-30s with a slim build. He was wearing a grey toque and dark clothing at the time.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
