A man that barricaded himself in a Burnside apartment was arrested Saturday, after a standoff with police for several hours.
Officers were called to the scene on the 300-block of Burnside Road East earlier in the afternoon, and were looking to arrested him on outstanding warrants.
After he did not comply, the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team was deployed.
After negotiating with the man and blocking off the surrounding area, officers took him in to custody.
Both officers and the man suffered no injuries.
