Earthquakes Canada reports a magnitude 4.1 quake struck off the coast of Vancouver Island on Wednesday night (it had earlier been reported by the agency as a M4.0).
It was detected at 7:23 p.m, 178km from Port Hardy at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The agency says there are no reports of any damage and no tsunami is expected
