One vehicle was severely damaged following the accident
The B.C. Coroners Service was called in following a serious crash on Highway 1 in Langford Sunday afternoon.
Westshore RCMP says the head-on collision resulted in serious life-threatening injuries.
The Coroners’ service has not released any other details.
Officers responded near the Leigh Road overpass around 1:30 p.m. following the accident and arrived at two vehicles involved.
Highway 1 just north of the Leigh Road has was shut down for several hours before opening at 6 p.m
Police say a traffic reconstructionist along with the West Shore RCMP Traffic Unit and general duty officers are working to determine the cause of the collision due to its severity.
