The corporation says the Coastal Renaissance will continue to sail until the repairs are confirmed successful.
ORIGINAL STORY: An issue with the Spirit of British Columbia’s fuel pumps has caused BC Ferries to cancel two sailings Wednesday morning between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen.
The 7 a.m. departure from the lower mainland and the 9 a.m. sailing leaving Swartz Bay have been cancelled.
BC Ferries says specialized technicians are assisting to fix the issues, which started from a faulty electrical connection causing damage to components.
The corporation says the Coastal Celebration is continuing regular service on the Victoria-to-Vancouver route.
