UPDATE: District of Saanich crews have restored water service to an area of Gordon Head after a water main break Thursday morning.
The district says a small number of residents in the 4100-block of Torquay Drive were without water for a few hours.
Gordon Head Recreation Centre was temporarily closed since it had no water but reopened around 11:30 a.m.

There was no water at Lambrick Secondary School, so officials dismissed students.
School District 61 said all other Gordon Head schools remained open.
Important -Thursday April 4th: There is a Water main break which means LP having NO water. Students who are able to go home on their own are being dismissed. All other students will remain at school until pick up can be arranged. GHMS is available for us. @sd61schools
