BC Ferries has cancelled two sailings on June 9 between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen due to a staff shortage.
Earlier in the day, four sailings were at risk of being cancelled, but the company was able to find staff for two of the sailings.
However, the 8 p.m. sailing leaving Swartz Bay and 10 p.m. leaving Tsawwassen will be cancelled as BC Ferries was unable to secure sufficient staffing.
Customer Service will be in touch with customers with reservations on the cancelled sailings and say if there is room on an alternate sailing or if the reservation must be cancelled.
The company says if enough crew can be found to staff the sailings they will be reinstated.
“We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of these cancellations,” the company says on its website.
