Police and ambulance were outside the Hemminger Law Group’s office in Langford. It remains behind police tape since Monday.
West Shore RCMP Sgt. Ralph Lea says another mysterious white powder was sent to the firm and they have confirmed it was a benign agent posing to risk to anyone.
It would be the second time a white powder was sent to the same location. Last month, the firm received a threatening letter and an envelope filled with a white powder.
Following protocol, the law office was locked down and several employees who came into contact with the powder were treated by first responders on scene and their clothes were decontaminated.
Detectives are actively investigating.
