Langford firefighters head to the area where two hikers became trapped on Mount Finlayson on Nov. 16, 2018.
Firefighters were called to Mount Finlayson Friday afternoon to rescue two hikers who got stuck near a gully.
A technical rescue team from Langford Fire Rescue went out to the area just after 1 p.m.
According to the fire department, a man and woman became stuck on steep ground at the back of Mount Finlayson, just below the treeline.

Firefighters used ropes to get the pair off the ledge. At around 4:15 p.m., the two were heading down the mountain without any injuries.
