The Prime Minister will make another announcement updating Canadians on COVID-19 this Thursday morning.

Justin Trudeau will once again will make a national address from his home in Ottawa, scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. PT. You can watch it live on the CHEK News Facebook page or YouTube channel.

Yesterday, Trudeau revealed the plans for an $82 billion economic relief package that targeted citizens and small businesses. He also confirmed that the Canadian border would be closed to all non-essential American travel.

Canadians are still waiting to hear when the border will be shut down to non-essential traffic and when financial help will start flowing.

The government is also aiming to briefly recall Parliament sometime next week, but is still in talks with the opposition parties about how to minimize the number of MPs who will debate and vote on the $82 billion aid package that was announced yesterday.
