Much like he has every day this week, Justin Trudeau will make a national address to Canadians from his home in Ottawa on Friday morning.

The announcement is expected to bring further details on the Canada-USA border closure, which is anticipated to be closed between Friday and Saturday.

Insiders are suggesting he will also be touching on the front line workers, medical supplies and industry.

The Prime Minister will make his announcement starting at 8:15 am PT on Friday. You can watch live on CHEK’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Earlier this week, Trudeau unveiled an $82 billion relief package to help Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parliament will meet next week in order to finalize any necessary details of the new policies. That money will start flowing in the first couple weeks in April.

Elsewhere, The Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, ordered the 40 million people in his state to stay at home. Italy surpassed China for the most number of deaths from the disease with 3,405 and the global death toll passed the 10,000 mark.

This will be updated following Trudeau’s announcement at 8:15 am PT.
