Island Health is advising people of a possible COVID-19 exposure at a pub in Victoria.

The possible exposure was at the Irish Times Pub, located at 1200 Government St. in Victoria, on Nov. 13 between 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

If you were at this location during the timeframe for possible exposure, it does not mean you will develop COVID-19, Island Health said. The possible exposure listed for this site is believed to be low risk.

However, out of an abundance of caution, anyone who was at the Irish Times Pub on Nov. 13 between 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. is asked to monitor themselves for symptoms.

If symptoms develop, self-isolate immediately and seek testing.

Island Health said contact tracing has been completed, and anyone identified as a close contact of the COVID-19 case has been instructed to self-isolate.

If you have not been contacted by public health, Island Health says you did not have a high-risk exposure related to this case. No ongoing COVID-19 risk from this exposure has been identified, according to the health authority.

Anyone with any symptoms of COVID-19 is asked to seek testing and self-isolate. You can find information at https://www.islandhealth.ca/covid19.

The Island Health COVID-19 Testing Call Centre is available for individuals experiencing symptoms of COVID-19: 1-844-901-8442 (8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily).
