History repeats itself for the Cardilicchia family. Over the weekend, Westshore Rebels head coach Charly Cardilicchia won the Orange Helmet Award for leading his 12-man Jr. Bantom Saanich Renegades to last year’s Provincial Championship. The award ceremony is put on by the BC Lions organization and recognizes top achievers in BC Amateur Football. It’s an award that Charly’s father, John Cardilicchia, captured over fifteen years ago for his work with the Victoria Rebels.
