Intersection collision causes traffic delays in Saanich, no injuries

A white van on its side after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Tillicum Road and Gorge Road Wednesday morning.

There were no injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Saanich that left one of the vehicles on its side Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Tillicum Road and Gorge Road.

The collision was between a northbound white van on Tillicum and a westbound blue Toyota Matrix travelling on Gorge.

The van flipped and came to rest on its driver’s side, but no injuries have been reported.

A number of emergency vehicles were on the scene and northbound traffic on Tillicum Road has been closed.
