The owner and founder of Victoria’s Mosi Gelato is bringing home a gold medal form the Gelato Festival America in West Hollywood, California.
He took the prize with his Seamist Sorbetto, made with fresh mint, lime, and its namesake Silk Road Tea (itself a combination of lemongrass, peppermint leaves and seaweed).
Mosi now qualifies for the 2020 Gelato Festival North American final in Miami where a the winner can scoop a spot at the World Finals in Italy in 2021.
“It has been a dream of mine for years to compete in this festival,” said Mosi in a press release.
“And to know that we can now take the flavours of Victoria to the North American Finals and hopefully to Italy feels incredible.”
