Hot dog thrown at Saanich pedestrian, police say

Saanich police say a hot dog was thrown at a woman who was walking along Quadra Street on Tuesday night.

Police said at around 11:10 p.m., a woman was walking down the 4200-block of Quadra Street when the passenger of a moving vehicle threw a hot dog at her.

The woman was not physically injured.

Police said the vehicle, described as a red car, was not located. There were no further descriptions of the vehicle.
