Highway 14 has reopened in both directions at Jordan River, west of Sooke, according to DriveBC in a road closure notice Sunday.
Around 2:30 p.m., DriveBC said the highway was reopened between Trailhead Drive and Jordan River Recsite after a vehicle incident closed lanes and snarled traffic. Crews closed the road in both directions around 1:30 p.m.
In its latest update, DriveBC says a lane closure is still in effect so drivers should brace for delays.
“Crews on scene. Pass with caution and expect delays,” it said in a tweet.
Another update is expected around 6:30 p.m.
