HarbourCats drop final two games against Bells

CHEK

WATCH: After a big win over the Bellingham Bells on Friday night, the Victoria HarbourCats failed to capitalize as they dropped the final two games of their three-game set against the division-leading Bells.

On Saturday, a nightmare sixth inning for the HarbourCats bullpen saw six runs cross the plate for Bellingham, which would see the Bells go on to take the Saturday contest by a score of 10-2.

Then on Sunday, a two-run single by Jason Willow pulled the ‘Cats even at three a piece in the fifth inning, but an eighth-inning solo home run by Matt James of Bellingham would be the difference, as the Bells took the rubber match 4-3 and the series victory along with it.

The HarbourCats now sit at 9-9 on the season, and travel to Walla Walla for a three-game series against the Sweets.
