WATCH: The Victoria Grizzlies scored three unanswered goals in the third period to defeat the Alberni Valley Bulldogs 8-5 at the Q Centre last night.

The Bulldogs pulled out to a 3-2 lead after the first period, thanks to a goal and an assist from Vancouver Island product Jackson Doucet. The Grizzlies would pull even in the second period, lead by two goals from veteran forward Lucas Clark late in the frame. T.J. Friedmann would give the Grizzlies the lead early in the third, and Carter Berger would add some insurance before an empty net goal would seal the deal. With the win, the Grizzlies keep pace with the leaders in the Island Division, sitting just one point behind the Nanaimo Clippers, and two points behind the division leading Powell River Kings.
