WATCH: The Victoria Grizzlies held on for a 7-6 win over the Powell River Kings Saturday night at the Q Centre, snapping their four-game home losing streak in the process.
The game was highlighted with some unsportsmanlike plays from both teams, with multiple major penalties and ejections. The Grizzlies cruised into the third period thanks to a five-goal outburst in the period prior, but the Kings made a game out of it in the third with two goals. Luckily, the Grizzlies were able to seal the deal late, as Nico Sommerville would score his first goal of the season to lift the Grizzlies to their first win at home in some time.
