In this episode of Get Up and Grow, CHEK’s Hannah Lepine and Gord Nickel, president of Wildwood Outdoor Living Centre, talk about camellia sinensis, or you can just call them the green tea plant.
Gord first goes over how to plant and care for the camellia sinensis. These evergreen plants like well-drained soil and organic material. It’s best to put them in a semi-shaded area, as long as they don’t get too much light in the mornings or evenings.
Gord then tells Hannah how to turn the buds into green tea.
