Free summer concerts have returned to Beacon Hill Park’s Cameron Bandshell stage for the next three weeks.

The stage has reopened for a stretch of free summer concerts every Saturday and Sunday between Aug. 21 and Sept. 11, according to the City of Victoria, and will feature a number of different styles from swing, to rock, pop, classical and blues.

Bands will include the Madrona Drive, the Mile Zero Club and the Greater Victoria Concert Band. A full list of shows can be found here.

The area provides seating for over 500 spectators with benches, picnic tables, and space to bring lawn chairs, according to the city.

The city also says non-profit organizations can book the venue for their own events through an application form.

The free concerts were announced after Phillips Brewing cancelled its Double Header Backyard concert series because of COVID-19.
