Former Cougar haunts old team, Royals down PG

CHEK

WATCH: Victoria Royals forward Kody McDonald potted two goals and the shootout winner against his former team, in the Royals 5-4 shootout victory over the Prince George Cougars on Saturday night.

Royals forward Carson Miller potted his first goal as a Royal, snapping a 19-game goalless drought in the process, and adding another in the same game for extra measure.

The Royals picked up all four possible points on the weekend road trip after coming up well short on Wednesday in Kamloops. The Royals returned home on Sunday to prepare for their Family Day showdown against the Kelowna Rockets at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre.
