The first section of the new southbound Douglas Street bus lane will open next week.
That’s the stretch between Tillicum Road and Boleskine Road.
Bus stops along that section will also be active with new transit shelters that are coming soon.
Construction continues on remaining sections from the Burnside Bridge to Tillicum and from Boleskine to Tolmie Avenue.
Work is set to be completed by the end of April.
