Fire breaks out at Victoria condo on Morrison Street

A Friday evening fire has caused significant damage to a condominium building along Morrison Street in Victoria.

Witnesses say that at least five fire trucks responded to the scene for the blaze which impacted units on both the first and second floor of the building.

Damage could be seen on the exterior of the building, including on the balconies of multiple units, however, no one was injured as a result of the blaze.

Residents of the building were alerted of the fire by a man yelling from the streets as the blaze could be seen on the outside of the building.

At this time, the cause of the fire remains unknown.
