If you’re watching your waistline this may be the weekend to get out of Greater Victoria.
Beginning Friday, thousands are expected to attend two major events in the Capital Region both offering up something for stomach.
Here’s what you need to know about Esquimalt Ribfest and the Great Canadian Beer Festival.
Ribbers from across North America will be slathering up a variety of meats at Bullen Park beginning Friday at noon and running until Sunday evening.
The event is free to get in but donations to the Esquimalt Firefighters Charitable Fund can be made at the entrance.
The event also includes local brewers, live entertainment, and a car show.
