Two people were sent to hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Highway 1 north of Duncan near Mays Road Saturday.
One northbound lane is still closed. Witnesses report that a truck and sedan were involved in the accident, and that the truck was flipped over.
Both northbound lanes and one southbound lane were first closed following the accident, that occurred around 2 p.m. Saturday.
The B.C. Ambulance Service, RCMP and North Cowichan Fire Department were on the scene following the incident.
