Eighth-annual Tour De Victoria takes over Capital Region

CHEK

WATCH: Ryder Hesjedal’s eighth annual Tour De Victoria was the biggest it ever has been, with more than 1,800 riders taking part in eight different races, beginning and ending at the legislature building in downtown Victoria.

The yearly event draws riders from all over the world to participate, but most of all the Tour De Vic showcases the vibrant local cycling community who comes out every year to support the event. The kids’ race was an opportunity for Hesjedal and fellow Olympic rider Seamus McGrath to ride alongside the next generation of riders in Victoria, and share their passion on the bike.
