Ed’s Forecast: Wind warnings for the North and West Island tonight and heavy rain as well

Another frontal push will whip up the South wind tonight and drive in heavy rain for the North and West Island particularly. Wind warnings are up for Port Hardy and Tofino with South winds potentially gusting to near 90 km/hr. Rain will total near 40 mm’s for the West island and 10-20 for Greater Victoria. Expect lows tonight of 8 with rain and wind and 10-15 mm’s of additional rain Thursday with highs of 10. The wet showery patter will continue into Fri and the Weekend.
