WATCH: Environment Canada has a snowfall warning in effect for East Vancouver Island including Port Alberni.
Additional amounts of five to 10 centimetres of wet snow are still possible overnight. A wind warning has also been posted for the north Island tonight and Wednesday with southeast wind 60 to 90 km/hr. The air mass is much warmer for the South Island so expect rain tonight for Greater Victoria some northeast wind and lows of 4 C. Wednesday will see the temperature move up to 9 with showers throughout the day. More on and off showers will continue for Thursday.
