Ed’s Forecast: Showers and cool temperatures this weekend

Unsettled cool air and on and off showers will be the set up this weekend. Showers or thunder showers will continue tonight with heavier rain on the north Island.

Lows tonight will sit at around  11 C. A few showers will start the day Saturday and end by the afternoon highs tomorrow a cool 14 C — which is well below the seasonal norms of 20 C.

Sunday expect showers with temperatures still on the cool side at 16 C.
