WATCH: An intense front that brought heavy rain to the Island since Wednesday afternoon will track away Friday bringing in somewhat drier conditions.

Rainfall warnings remain up tonight for Tofino, Port Alberni, Nanaimo and Greater Victoria with rain amounts in the 15-20 mm range. Look for rain to ease overnight with lows of 6. Friday will be a mainly cloudy day with the shower chance dropping to 60% windy at times and highs of 10. Saturday showers will continue with rain returning on Sunday.
