Ed's Forecast: Another storm hits the Island tonight with wind and rainfall warnings posted for many regions

WATCH: A strong frontal system will bring in heavy rain and strong southeast winds up to 70 km/hr tonight and Thursday on Vancouver Island.

Look for rain amounts of 20-30 millimetres for the north and east Island but up to 90 millimetres for Tofino. Wind warnings are up for Courtney to Campbell River and Nanoose Bay to Fanny Bay with southeast winds up to 70 km’s/hr with lows of 6 C. On Thursday, expect heavy rainfall to continue, including on areas of the Malahat, and mild temperatures near 10 C. More rainfall is expected to continue into Thursday night.
