Ed’s Forecast: A rainfall warning is up the East Island tonight but the sunshine returns by Sunday

WATCH: Heavy rain will soak the east Island tonight but that system will run out of strength by Saturday afternoon making way for some sunny breaks on Sunday.

Look for showers for Greater Victoria tonight, a possible thunder shower and lows of 11 C. Saturday will start with showers but by the afternoon things will ease and dry up, highs tomorrow will reach 17 C. Sunday (the first full day of fall) will see some high pressure start to build and sunny breaks are forecast. Sunnier warmer days are coming for next week.
