BC Ferries says the Queen of Alberni, sailing between Duke Point and Tsawwassen, is running behind after an issue with the ticketing system.
The company tells CHEK News the issue was resolved before 6 a.m., and the crew will aim to make up time through the rest of the day.
The Queen of Alberni is the only ferry to have been delayed.
The 5:15 a.m. sailing left 78 minutes late, according to the company.
Despite the delay, passengers with reservations are advised to show up to the terminal for the correct time for their reservation to ensure the reserved status can be maintained, and that you can be placed in the correct spot ahead of standby customers.
#ServiceNotice #Tsawwassen #DukePoint #QueenofAlberni departed 78 minutes behind schedule for the 5:15 am sailing from #Vancouver to #Nanaimo due to a technical issue with our reservation system.
