Victoria police are investigating a road rage incident where a driver reportedly threw a drink into another vehicle near the McDonald’s on Hillside Avenue.

According to police, at around 3 p.m., a driver was leaving the McDonald’s parking lot in the 1500-block of Hillside Avenue when another driver made an unsafe pass on the left side of the vehicle. Police said the driver that made the unsafe pass then threw a drink into the first driver’s vehicle. The first driver was waiting to turn.

Victoria police said they are still looking for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to call their non-emergency line at 250-995-7654.

Wednesday’s road rage incident comes three days after a man allegedly threw a lit cigarette into a vehicle after another driver honked at the man’s truck in downtown Victoria. Police said the victim in that incident suffered minor burns.
