The road through Mount Douglas Park is closed due to downed power lines in the area.
Saanich police said the Ash Road and Cordova Bay Road intersection is closed and traffic cannot go through the park. Traffic northbound on Shelbourne is being diverted.
The Saanich Fire Department, BC Hydro and the Island Traffic Group are at the incident.
