Construction of the new Clover Point Pump Station will require temporary closures of the Dallas Road Waterfront Pathway and Clover Point Road this fall, according to the CRD.

The closure of the pathway is expected to last from September 2019 – January 2020. Additional construction may require further closures in 2020.

Clover Point Road will be closed to vehicle traffic and parking for approximately four weeks.

The CRD says that pedestrians can still access Clover Point Park by following a detour along Dallas Road.

Beach access will also remain available at Memorial Crescent.

The Clover Point Pump Station is part of the CRD’s Wastewater Treatment Project, which will wastewater treatment from Victoria, Esquimalt, Saanich, Oak Bay, View Royal, Langford and Colwood, and the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations by the end of 2020.
