Cumberland residents are no longer facing any restrictions when it comes to outdoor watering.
The Village of Cumberland announced Saturday that all restrictions on outdoor water use have been lifted for users of the Cumberland water system.
“The Village of Cumberland thanks residents for limiting outdoor water use over the past few months,” the municipality said in a post on its website, adding. “This action helped to maintain water levels and water quality in our surface and groundwater sources for essential uses.”
Residents had been under Stage 1 watering restriction prior to Saturday’s announcement.
