The Capital Regional District says wastewater discharged into the water along some Greater Victoria shorelines may pose a health risk following heavy weekend rainfall.
The CRD says the rain resulted in a combined overflow of stormwater and wastewater Sunday afternoon, affecting areas in the vicinity of Clover Point Park along Dallas Road, between Cook Street and Hollywood Place.
Residents are advised to avoid entering the water along the affected shoreline because of possible health risks.
