The Capital Regional District is notifying residents of upcoming construction at the Beaver Beach parking lot.

From March 1 to March 31, CRD staff will be replacing a waterline in the area, and will be installing equipment for future electric vehicle charging stations at the parking lot.

The work is expected to take place primarily in a grassy area between Beaver Beach and the Beaver Beach Parking Lot.

The CRD says the parking lot will remain open during this time, and it’s expected that the Beaver Beach washrooms will remain mostly open, save for a few temporary disruptions throughout the month.

“Follow the directions of staff and signage,” said the CRD in a release Wednesday. “Use caution around equipment and crews.”
