Mounties on Vancouver Island say they are searching for suspects who allegedly poured oil and paint inside multiple vehicles.

According to a recent press release from the RCMP, the incident happened on July 10 at around 2:30 a.m. in the Comox Valley. The release did not state where exactly the incident took place.

However, Mounties say the two suspects poured oil all over the driver and passenger seats of the vehicle and coated the interior of the vehicle with white powdery paint.

“This appears to be a random, completely absurd, act of mischief,” said Const. Monika Terragni, media relations officer with the Comox Valley RCMP. ” We are looking for assistance to identify one of these suspects so that we can follow up accordingly.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.

RCMP are searching for this person, who they say poured oil inside a vehicle earlier this month.
