Company behind LNG plant for west side of Vancouver Island is accepting input

The proponents behind a 30 billion dollar liquified natural gas (LNG) facility for the west side of Vancouver Island have held their first town hall meeting. The company and the First Nation behind the project held their first town hall meeting this past week as they want to keep the community informed about what’s happening. Those backing the project say there’s still a lot of work to be done but the economic potential for the region is great if the project is one day approved. Kendall Hanson reports.
