WATCH: Comox Valley’s Cassie Sharpe finished in 2nd place at the halfpipe skiing World Cup in Copper Mountain, Colorado.

The 26-year-old, still fresh off her gold medal performance in the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, stuck all her landings on big tricks in her final run of the contest, but was bested by Estonia’s Kelly Sildaru, who scored a 93 on her second run, while Sharpe, unhappy with her final score of 90.5 was forced to settle for the silver this time around. Fellow Canadian Rachael Karker finished just off the podium in 4th place.
