Collision snarls traffic in Colwood Tuesday evening

Emergency responders were called to a collision on the Island Highway at Six Mile Road in Colwood Tuesday evening.

The View Royal Fire Department says crews were called to the scene around 6 p.m. following a collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.

Paramedics were also on scene, according to a CHEK News reporter.

Around 6:30 p.m., they said traffic was backed up, so delays were expected. Colwood-bound traffic on the Island Highway was being rerouted via Six Mile Road.
