A collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Alberni Highway in Errington saw witnesses rush to the aid of those involved.
Around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, paramedics, RCMP and crews from the Errington Fire Department were on scene responding to the crash near Price Road, a witness tells CHEK News.
Photos sent to CHEK News show a red Nissan and a motorcycle involved in the crash. The motorcycle is seen on its side as other witnesses provide aid.
Sgt. Shane Worth with the Oceanside RCMP tells CHEK News that “preliminary details are that a motorcycle rear-ended a vehicle.”
According to Worth, paramedics transported the motorcyclist, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, to hospital for assessment.
He says alcohol has been ruled out as a contributing factor in the crash, and the vehicle and motorcycle were towed from the scene.
