BC Hydro says 1,863 customers are without power in Saanich’s Gorge-Tillicum area due to a tree down across its wires.
In an update around 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, the hydro company says a crew is on-site working to restore the power, which has been off since 1 p.m.
A map from BC Hydro shows people north of Gorge Road W., east of Helmcken Road, south of Hastings Street and west of Interurban Road are impacted by the outage.
