Victoria-based non-profit organizations can apply for up to $25,000 in support funding until the end of May.

The city has allocated $125,000 to support non-profit and cultural organizations in 2021. Non-profit organizations can apply for up to $25,000 for physical upgrades, equipment and land purchases.

They can also apply for up to $10,000 for a planning study to help build organizational capacity instead, including facilities planning and architecture.

Applicants can submit an application either together or separately for one type of funding.

“Funding will help increase Victoria’s supply of cultural spaces and improve existing facilities so residents and visitors can continue to experience more art, more often, in safe, accessible spaces,” said the city in a press release earlier this month.

The city is encouraging artists to collaborate and share art facilities and resources.
