A child who was taken to hospital following an incident at a hotel pool in Victoria last week has died.
Victoria Police responded to Hotel Zed, located on Douglas Street, in the evening hours of March 24 following reports of an incident involving a child at the facility’s pool.
The child was transported to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries but later died.
BC Coroners Service confirmed the child’s death and told CHEK News they are investigating the incident.
